Tongass Salmon

The Tongass National Forest is the largest national forest in the United States. It produces more than 60 million salmon each year, making it our great Salmon Forest. In fact, 28% of the salmon caught commercially in the United States and 12% of all North Pacific salmon caught commercially began their lives in our forest.
